Khoobsurat Workshop was Himachal Queer Foundation’s second residential Self-care & Catharsis workshop for Queer-Trans* folks and allies. Fakeera, our resource person, worked with us for four days through a lot of trauma, hardships and stories. We cried and laughed together, while forming a community among ourselves. Through various exercises, discussions and techniques, we tried to find ways to cope with the world at large, and ended up finding a sense of family in everyone who came to attend this. This workshop took place in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh from March 11-14, 2023.
